LAFAYETTE, LA – State Rep. Stuart Bishop (R-Lafayette) was re-elected to a second term representing District 43 in the Louisiana House of Representatives after no challengers qualified to run for the office.

“I’m humbled to have the confidence of my community, and this continued opportunity to serve District 43,” Bishop said.  “This trust placed in me says a great deal about the work we’ve done and have yet to do in Baton Rouge.  I’m going to continue working hard to enact common sense legislation to move our Louisiana forward, and knowing I have your support will make the job all the more meaningful.  Thank you.”fam with Louis
